Real Aussie Kids (RAK) is a highly successful Junior Development Road Cycling Program for athletes aged between 15 to 19 years. The RAK program, founded in 2003, is a feeder system to the world of professional cycling. This non-profit organisation identifies promising young cyclists and equips them with the life skills required to pursue a career at an elite level, whilst providing for life after the sport through ensuring academic and personal development.
Simply put we want our Athletes to "be their best .....what ever they do".
The centre piece of the program is the annual six week overseas training camp. For the past five years the camp has been based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado
In 2008 RAK is supported by the Drapac-Porsche Development Program one of Australia’s leading Continental Cycling Teams. This association recognises the synergy in both team’s philosophies.
